I've been setting up some poser people to be used inside my Carrara scenes. I have Carrara 5 pro, and have noticed that when i bring in my Poser characters they seem to be a little shiny, and plastic like. Is this a Carrara problem or a Poser problem? And how do I fix it? Also can Toon Pro be set just to draw the outside edge lines, or do I have to render the image twice, once with lines and once without lines, and edit it in photoshop. Thanks. David

Poser textures do require a little tuning up in Carrara to render well IMO. Duplicating the Bump channel into the Shininess channel plus reducing the Bump channel to a value around 8 seems to work for me.

paradoxically increasing the skin shinyness to around 90% will also fix the problem. Love esther PS but in some lights the skin doesn't look shiny anyway
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
