The original series was a very simple and straightforward model but this had a few twists and turns in it.
I still have to do the paint job and may do a few more modeling tweaks here and there.
The entire project was done 100% in Carrara.

I still get a kick out of Star Trek TOS. This is an excellent model of one of the ships I remember so well.

Kix, you and I must have had very similar childhoods -- these models of yours, the TOS Enterprise, this lovely Klingon cruiser -- I had these old AMT plastic models when I was a kid. I spent so many hours playing with them that I knew every curve and groove. Looks like you have a similar memory of them. (Or you're working from the models in reality.)
Whatever the case, thanks for taking me to a happy time in my life with these models and the images you make from them.
