After spending some time away from Carrara (working with Poser and Hexagon) I have now encountered a problem in the browsers within Carrara. In a paged browser (like the scene wizard) the first page is shown correctly but as soon as I click in the page list the focus remains in the page list, the selection moves up and down as I move the mouse, CPU use stays at 100 %. There is no way to get Carrara to leave this mode.
I suppose it is a DLL that got damaged. Anybody any idea how to fix this.

Back up all of your custom shaders, objects etc. Then uninstall and reinstall Carrara. Thats the best way to fix a bad DLL.

Yeah, honestly, I don't recognize your issue real well from that description.
No need to think outside the box....
Just make it
invisible.
