Am I dreaming or is it true.Just played around with the C5 Demo and it seems to me, that Poser figures imported by Nativ Poser function have better joint bendings than in Poser itself.I'm impressed."Just" have to save money for a new PC-system and Carrara.:)

Right now the Eovia online store is offering Carrara5 for $149 and Carrara5Pro for $329! The price is the same in euros. The sale ends on March 31st. I couldn't pass it up and got Carrara5. I compared it to Vue5, But Carrara's added feature set and tools plus the terrific price break made this an offer I couldn't refuse. It was the right time for me to make the move from Bryce.

Yes, I definitely think there's truth to this. I've actually mentioned it before myself in the forum. I've imported several standard Poser figures using Carrara's native import, and they all seemed to have much better joint parameters than they had in Poser itself. The downfall, on my machine, is that the OGL implimentation in Carrara made it a bit more sluggish to pose the figures and work with them on the screen, but I expected that.

OGL problems? hmm. I've found the C5 OGL faster then previous versions, and more than comparable to Poser's speed. What graphics card do you guys have?
