Very impressive I like hwo you can see that lower level now and the floor is a bit better broken up.

Yep looking good Robert. Maybe some of those hot spot shiny bits here and there. I wish I could give you more input, but this monitor is on its way out and well its basically f**ked and I cant see everything clearly:( Keep it up mate:)
I never intended to make art.

Shiny: Don't forget.....if there are pieces you are not happy with you can alter them and then just re-render the parts you've changed using the plop-render gizmo! This will save you rendering the whole pic again..........I've been using this method to fix problems with my 'The Visitor' pic. This pic still looks like Rochr's, but from another pov. That's a complement BTW!!

Well, this is a fantastic advert for Wings3D I've ever seen..awesome modeling and maybe this came out better for us rather than you......sometimes mistakes to you are gold to us... Marc (Waiting for the next model!!)

This keeps getting better and better and definitely justifies all the time you have put into it!! I'd say your skills have grown with this one; unfortunately for you, so have our expectations, lol. We'll be expecting you to "hit it out of the ballpark" with every new render from now on.;-)

Thanks everyone!
Sans2012--
If you are referring to the method that Rochr and others use to add reflective "hotspots" in Universe, I tried it and for some reason it just didn't look right. =( Maybe the next image will work a bit better for it.
Rayraz--
The Wings file is approx. 11MB, and the Bryce file is approx 22MB (which only makes perfect sense, because when Bryce imports meshes, it doubles the polycount).
Bryster--
I must be having a dumb time =) Great idea, not sure why I didn't remember that (used it many times before). Hmm... I'm kind of itching to start another model though...
danamo--
YIKES!!! I love pressure.... =) Now I get to try and come up with a more original concept... hmm... maybe a variation on i-popba's last image... DANG it! =) ;)

Rayraz-- I would agree, it's a very reasonable size for something on this scale. I did not use True Ambience for this image; I find that you get a lot more detail (and a much more accurate representation of radiosity) when you use the Blurry Reflections method (which was used here).
Flak posted Mon, 06 March 2006 at 11:49 PM
Only 22MB!!!..... you should talk to DAZ about it.... Image looks great :)

hmmm... blurry reflections is far from accurate :P though indeed faster. It kinda works 'the wrong way round' though :P I'd love to give it a try some time with TA...

This is rather good.
The render time is a real sting. I thought I was extreme but I don't think I'd wait that long! ;-)
Is that time for the image at the size you've posted here?
