Hi. I am a forensic animator with a love for poser and storytelling in general. In my as yet undisclosed named podcast, I will review current trends, products, websites, tools and techniques for poser/carrara/hexagon. I am hoping to get some pre-feedback into what people want to see(hear). Recently I got featured here: http://www.eovia.com/solutions/user_projects/user_proj_jt.asp I hope to provide a valuable resource to poser/carrara users as well as to podcast makers as well on an as yet undisclosed named audio creation podcast.

Jarrett,

I had actually been thinking about the same thing, and some of us had a brief discussion about it at the last Central Florida Carrara users group meeting. Real life of course intruded and it went nowhere, but I'm still very interested in such a thing. My personal schedule is totally booked for the next 6 weeks or so, but after that I would to help if possible with content, production, promotion, or bandwidth.

OK guys, there seems to be some interest here. But what we will need from you are ideas on what you want featured. Planned so far: 1. An interview with Eric Winemiller, Of Course! 2. An interview with Bob Stockwell, of Eovia. 3. An interview with Steve Kondris, of Daz3d. 4. An interview with someone from Curious Labs. 5. A "Best of Freestuff" feature in each episode. 6. A "Best of Brokered Products" feature in each episode. 7. Some audio reviews, specific on how to use audio apps for making podcasts. etc. Lets hear some more! j

If there is any way I can help let me know. Audio restoration, sound design and voice over are my strong suits. Just now learning Carrara 5 Pro. Bob

Bob, I am looking for suggestions. I need a good audio app for pc. I would like for it to support vst plugins at least, maybe more. I am going to be using a m-audio black box for guitar and mobile pre. Still undecided on mic. I may get the ableton app from m-audio.

Look at Adobe Audition. I think it will take care of everything you need. I have used it for years and love the interface and the flexability of the program. I do 99% of my work on it. I master, do multi channel mixes and restoration with it. Bob

Maybe. Ableton live is pretty nice. designed for live musicians. and the guitar specific features are pretty incredible. Ill look at audition, though m-audio is purely focused on audio, live audio. Thanks roberta!

Ok guys, Unimesh Radio episode 2 is in production! Looking on ebay for a mic, but i see a m-audio blackbox with an expression pedal and a mic is $200! Not bad, that provides me with a vst capable sequencer, recording capabilities, mic, and instrument inputs for the cheapest price I have seen!

Don't care much for interviews... But I would like tutorials on using Carrara for Poser (and vice versa). Making clothes in particular.

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.
