See the linked bug report. Which figure is it that is going bald on you?Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

(5.93)Esther, you have special contacts at eovia don't ya? ;) They have another bug...they were trying to track down with those kind of things like shoes getting screwed up w/ native files support. It's on there too.

My V3 from DAZ is bald to begin with. What kind of hair did you add to it in which verison of Poser?
estherau posted Thu, 02 February 2006 at 11:20 PM
poser 6 - saphirefox (the prop version) well maybe there's a bug in the 5.93 beta -hehe just kidding 5.03 is the latest version okay so they are working on it then i presume. yes my V3 is also born bald - poor thing wellback to transposer then

LoL...that is a good point shonner. V3 is bald (no textures either)via native unless you add those then export. You should be able to apply them in carrara then save it to reuse. Depends on what you were importing I suppose.

Hair room hair only works with transposer. hr2 and cr2 hair is supposed to work with native. I've not had problems with hair for V3, but I did have the bra cups used in my latest piece fly off of her. Apparently Carrara thought she was going to work in a topless bar, and I had to put on my pimp shoes and go correct it. :) In the same image magnets I had used to fit the hair in the hat, and the left knee into the boot all disapeared, and I had to load the boot and hair into the modelling room and morph them in to fit.

I think all my cr2's are hairless. I don't have many. I will see if I have one. The upside is at least she can't have any bad hair days;)I still seem to be missing alpha maps tho, but don't know if that is daz or carrara. I reported some rather silly obj bugs in their 2nd daz patch. I wish they would work with eovia more.

I think all my cr2's are hairless. Some hair models are made as cr2s rather than hr2s. Especially hair with elements like ponytails such as Batlab's twintails.

"The girl" was ok for me... had a long ponytail. Since I don't actually use poser only D|S I can't currently write cr2's w/o taking another route. Well if you know there is nothing dynamic in that...report it to support@eovia.com or one of the other bug addresses.

Carrara will import cr2s? I presumed it imported pzz and pz3, but never tried cr2.

well ifyou import the cr2 natively into carrara then you can apply poses to her. But if you use transposer then you can't. Love esther

I'm going to have to look and see if I can use this as a workaround to the Aiko bug... Can you import an hr2 fils and have its parenting work... Or do I need to do what I used to do in Vue back in the 'old days' and export Aiko as a .obj?
