Are wet T-shirts an SSS situation or just a translucency thing? Is there a situation where SSS is even used for water/ocean objects? Or is SSS best for more opaque objects?

Hi, Shonner. Charles recommends transluncy channel for the things you have mention above...water and the wet t-shirts.

Ok. That's what I thought. Thanks. Will have to try some wet sheets drying in the wind and see how light goes through the wetter spots. I.E. more see-through, more shiney, more reflective. Maybe use a reflective map with a highlight map?

Those would work and also a map in the tranlucency channel.

I was just thinking of that one, too.
