A couple of things will make this one work better for you. First, uncheck "Align with Normals" Second, confine the replication to a shading domain like "Branch 2" (you'll see this option to the right of the replicator window. Post back if you have any problems. Welcome to the club! ;) Mark

So...what is the C5Pro Club? I might join, as I really like the direction Eovia is going with their products -- especially Carrara. -Lou

Hello Lou, It's just a figure of speech - no real club exists. It's just a way of saying, "Glad you are using C5 also." Language is so imprecise... ;) Mark

Well, in that case, I've joined!

Interesting. I did a sample of this myself last night to make sure that it worked the way I said it would. It did. So, there is something else going on with the set up. I suspect that it has something to do with grouping. Getting things in the right order is very important so try this: Create tree>insert replicator>select berry as replicated object and tree/brances as object to replicate on>Group tree and replicator. Then insert new replicator and replicated the grouped tree/replicator to the terrain. Mark

Hi Mark, I'll give it a shot, but it looks like the path I took. I built the berry, with stem. Then built tree. Added replicator, selected berry as replicated object ( hot point at tip of stem ) and tree/branch as object to replicate on... then I grouped the tree/replicator/berry. But I then duplicated the three trees instead of replicating them, since I has some crooked groups... anyway, that shouldn't cause the berries to spread so far... I'll post my next try soon. Thanks for your help.

Nice, but I think your leaves are wrong for blueberries. I believe more oval and pointy along a stem. At least the bushes I have seen. This is definitely good to know.
No need to think outside the box....
Just make it

You are correct, rounded at the end and not as bright, just playind with leaves. I need to change them again to tip objects in AG. Can a person put their own leaves in Carrara plant modeler? I'd rather do that to keep it simple, and is there a way of not having berries appear over leaves... sharing the same space?

Man now I wish I had waited for C5 before going out and getting C4 earlier this year. That blew my software budget for the next 2 years.. The new features look awesome.
