I finally took the plunge and ordered the C5 beta. It suddenly occurred to me (all to late) that we are paying Eovia to do their testing for them! Nice one Eovia - as long as there are mugs like me around you'll definately stay in business! Anyway, just wondered if anyone else has had this problem. Load in a predefined scene. go to the Render tab and select the output tab. Now try to change the size of the output image. My version of C5 just bombs out to the desktop. All work lost and no errors. Is this just on my machine or has anyone else had similar problems?

Hey man I am glad Eovia lets the users that are eligible for the beta tryout do testing for them. I think it helps that we can provide input before the final release. It makes for a better product. It's great! I tried your bug but can't reproduce it on my machine. I would definately report it to Eovia's bug people though. I have found a few non-critical bugs and have reported them all in hopes that it makes a better Carrara! Have a good one, Steama

Been using the beta for about 3 weeks -- HARD! Have not yet had a hard crash. This beta has been through the beta testing mill. Considering the reasonable upgrade cost for us early birds, I have no problems, and like this very stable beta. After using the supposed production version of Vue5 Infinite-bug since March of this year, this application is like a stable dream!

I've had a few glitches, but the program recovered and did not become unstable. I reported them to Eovia. I have C5Pro loaded on 4 PCs -- no bombs yet.

I have no stability issues, that said I've some major Poser related issues....transparency/textures not applying correctly(and can't correct them either) and the inability to delete or align. Other than that all OK.

Yeah, all they do is go thru them. They can determine what is a priority and what they can reproduce.

No need to think outside the box....
