Okay, after much encouragement I have continued this and came up with this. Actually the whole concept is much much different, so probably I will branch into two separate pix (eeeouch, now I have three separate projects =P). Read into this what you will; I'd be interested in hearing various interpretations of this image, as well as suggestions for improvement. Obviously it's not finished yet. =)

reminds me of those make up ads for revlon or any of the brands that you'll find in a Cosmopolitan mag!! I'm not sure what you want to show.. lipstick or bullets...pencil eyeliners or sharpened pencils...i like the sleek look of it though.. as per the water or liquid..mercury?... it's got a strange sink into it..like as if the liquid has been swirled..or sunken...like a hole in the middle.. just my two bits...
