Is there any way to glue the Models to the ground in P6, so they stick to it and don't "slide" from one pose into the next during a animation or do I need to correct their feet manually (which takes a lot of time & nerves in Poser)? :(

You will probably have to fix them manually, you could set the poses and delete the keyframes after the first pose and up to and including the second pose for the feet only.

Did you try using IK?

Turn on IK uner the figure menu for the feet and then grab the hip to move the body around. If you want to move a foot then turn off the IK for that foot then turn it back on where you need it to stick to the floor. A Walk cycle would involve turning IK on and off as you move the figure across the room. See the attached Flash Animation for an example.Message edited on: 07/25/2005 17:18

I thought that distantworlds might have used two poses from a library and IK wouldn`t have any effect in that case.

Well he didn't actually ask how to do it with the WalkDesigner or library poses. He just asked how to make the feet stick to the floor to stop that sliding effect. In order to do that you do it manually.

I wasnt arguing about it, I was just explaining why I didnt mention using IK in my first post.

Xantor you're right! ;) I created various poses inside the library and wanted to use them to create a Animation. Thanks for your help, Mizrael, Cantor and stewer! :)
