but there is problem.
I used FireFly (poser internal Renderer) until I got Toon Pro.
That could Smoothing toon border.
but I cant softicate toon border in Toon Pro.
Maybe I make it with Some Optional Shader Settings.
any Ideas?

zgock,
I dont' think you'll be able to get the exact same look as the FireFly renderer with Toon! Pro, but try playing with the Levels parameter on the Toon! Pro Cel shader. That controls how many transitions there are between light and shadow.
BTW, I really like the top image, would you mind if I grabbed it for the DCG user gallery?

And I request feature "softness slider" in next version of Toon Pro :-)

zgock, I've bookmarked the thread to look at again when it's time to do a Toon! Pro update. We'll see we what we can do then for a softness slider. Regards, Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild 3D plug-ins for Carrara http://digitalcarversguild.com

How about something similar to the blurring/softening in Toon Pt. 3??? You could even type in your own blurring matrix, although you could only get a 3x3 blur, but that would usually blur things enough, especially if you did more than one pass.

Ah, you could try another thing too... Render just the lines on white BG, and render one with just the colors. Give the lines a slight gaussian blur in some prog, and then invert it, and set it as a mask for a black layer on top of the color layer... Or use a darken layer blending mode, that might work...

Sardtok, I don't think zgock was referring to the line quality, he was looking for a different transition between light and shadow on the cel shader. Regards, Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild 3D plug-ins for Carrara http://digitalcarversguild.com

Ah well,
the blurring matrix thing in Toon Pt. 3 also takes care of those...
Don't have any neat tricks as to how he could blur the transitions in post without any manual work though he could try the same approach as the one I said, only blur the color layer instead...

Eric, I got agreement from Authors of Props. u can grab it. but plz credit bellow. //////////////////////////////////////////////// clothes and room props by taruru. glasses prop by Eichi. //////////////////////////////////////////////// Sardtok, I already tried em.but I couldn't get what I need. Cos Toon! III is post-render-effector. so he erases all clean Lines Drawn by Toon! Pro. and he effects same effect to all elements of scene. I just need "Cel Shader" not "Post-Render-Effector" thanx.
