Not too long ago, someone (agiel, I thought) had a post going about getting Vue to show contour lines by intersecting planes with a terrain. I tried using the search tool, and poking around in the 'backroom', but no luck. Okay, I'm obviously a dummy, but this dummy sure would appreciate it if someone can give me a link. Found a good use for this technique, but can't recall how it worked. Thanks!

Try the Backroom page (link in the header of the forum), under the Terrains section :)

Could've sworn I looked in there, but couldn't see it. See it now, so that's all that matters. Anyways, this should solve a problem or two. Watch for a render featuring the Xfrog giant sequoias in the coming weeks... something Stewart asked me to do a few years ago. I have all the tools now... just need to make em work. I thought it was one of your posts... thanks, agiel!

For the benefit of those who have never seen a somewhat large tree, thought I'd post a couple pics.

The first is me attempting to hug the average sequoia. The sequoia is the only tree I ever tried to hug. The second is a cluster... look closely for the tiny humans.
