Seems like they should be, but I can't find any commands in the menus to make it happen. Also, I select balls and go to the Color Menu, but they don't seem to want to change color. Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks.

Hello Kelly, The color previews are not visible when using Continuous Mesh preview are enabled - only the other two modes. Inside the metaball room, you can "group" and select by color but there is no traditional grouping method or way to name different metaballs the way you can name polygons in the vertex modeler. The metaball interface is a little bit like the ugly stepchild from Raydream days. I hope that it gets Carrara-ized in the future. Mark
