The thread has been deleted but the hard work and learning experience may stll be of interst to others. Shiny stuff is NOT easy to render!

Probably yes. Dont expect immediate answers-- may take one or two days sometimes.

To make a render of such stuff is not a so easy and take some time. And the rendering takes also time (I am just rendering it since 12 hours, and in about 8 hours it will be done. Johannes

ok, here it is, I have posted it in the galerie, it was some work It was lot of fun and a long rendertime

I cannot believe I rendered this thing about 20 times before I got one I liked. I had one file that became corrupted part way through and had to re-create from scratch. Anyway, here is my entry.

I have one other idea I would like to try out with the ring. That one may take a little longer.
