After reading the posts in the forum and having some discussion, Mark and I have agreed that the RDS name in our forum / gallery / community / backroom is ready to retire. I'm now talking with the administration to find out how / when / if that change can be made. Mark and I also discussed bringing Amapi into the Carrara forum but I felt that was not something that we should do because there are people who use Amapi that are not Carrara users. I also felt that keeping the forum to one software at a time is enough for now. I'll let you know what I hear from the admins on the logistics of changing the forum name. Mark suggested that when the name gets changed that we have a "moment of peace" to let RDS go. I agree. I'm sure we can have some fun with it too! Just be warned, a forum name hasn't been changed at Renderosity in my memory and I don't even know if it's possible so there may be a chance we can't pull it off. Don't get out the party decorations just yet. -Kix

:/ sad to retire RDS.. It was my first 3D app (actually Ray Dream "Designer" back then, dating myself now huh?).. anyway I think it's a good idea, don't think there is anyone still using it. still kinda sad in a way
