I just ordered Carrara 4 Standard. This will be the first really advanced 3D modeling program for me. I already have Bryce 5 and Terragen. I am wondering if I will need to install a 3D graphics card in my computer? The graphics card I currently have is a Radeon 9200. Thanks, k

I have a Radeon 8500 and C4 works great on it using either OpenGL mode or default software mode.

Carrara seems to play well with many systems. I doubt you'll have trouble with your card.

you should have no prob's with that card.. carrara plays with everyone... If you start doing a LOT of items/ models, and have the preview set to full shaded you may see it start to lag a bit... select a lower grade preview.... or get a higher card.... but I don't think you'll have to much to worry about
Hexagon, Carrara, Sculptris, and recently Sketchup.
