Here's an image of a gear and the four parts I used to make it. If the forum is up for it, I'll make it a quicky tutorial. -Kix

Once you have the base pieces built, it's easy to build more gears with the same unscaled teeth and they will fit together and look like they should work together. -Kix

I am always up for new tutorials, and I am sure the forum is too! ;-) Nice gears too, and I wouldn't have thought you would model them that way. this looks interesting. PaulG

Excellent work. This technique gives a lot of control to tooth shape and general morphology. Neat!
