Subject: Fonts in Carrara 3

Ok.. I'm on a Mac... soo alot of you may not get this but... I have fonts that are in my top/first Library folder that My system uses but carrara doesn't see them unless they are in the system's Library folder.... can I make carrara 3 see these fonts? the system wont let me drag the fonts into the folder... sooo any ideas? posting over at the Mac forum also... thanks

Hexagon, Carrara, Sculptris, and recently Sketchup.

Hi Thomas, Carrara will only read True Type or Type 1 fonts. So, the Open Type fonts now included with OSX aren't useable. :( Mark

I love my G5 Dual 2G Mac, and OSX. My only real complaint is the way the system scatters font folders all over the place, but that's for another forum... I am surprised that Carrara doesn't recognize OT fonts. They've been around for some time now. I've got Carrara 4 Pro and there is no mention of OT compatibility in the manual, and they don't show up in the type menu. Any plans for OT compatibility in the future?
