This is a character prop I'm working on to make things like hotels, offices etc easier to build on the fly. Its a cubic office segment. Basically its a cube with a floor, ceiling and four wall types for each of the four walls. It has a plain wall, a wall with a posable door, a wall with an office style window and a wall with an elevator with posable doors on all for sides. The idea is you'd plop down each character prop to make a hallway, open area or whatever you want, then hide or unhide walls for what you need. In the pic, the hallway in the upper right is just 5 of these placed end on end with the appropriate wall segment hidden/revealed. It took me less than a few minutes to make a convincing hotel/office hallway. I made them characters instead of combined props so they can be hidden easily and their sub parts can be more easily handled. The doors swing on hinges and the elevator doors slide open. I still have some touch up to do like cleaning up some material mapping issues but I should be ready to relase this in a bit. I also made an elevator prop that you slap next to an elevator door.
