like tha angle you are taking, don't worry about kemal i'm sure he wont mind if his cat gets used like that in good art. Just one thing that may improve the image, why not try to have some of the broken bits still falling to the ground and if possible blur them a bit so it looks like the are falling in slow motion. Just an idea.

Not to be a party pooper.....how does this relate to the concept of speed as stated in the challenge?

Bryster i think the idea behind it is when something like that breaks it happens quickly. Shattering bits moving fast while you actually see it all happening in slow motion. that never happened to you before :)

I understand now that it's been explained, but i'm afraid that some people just won't get it. This is the risk whenever you do something that strays from the norm, however. I think it's a good idea, but a hard one to grasp for some.

Hmm, must remember to include notes when I upload :) I will also try the falling bits, but what is the best way to motion blur them? Edited to include pronouns.

Mahray... LunarTick, you two aren't alone. I too do not for sure understand how to add the motion blur to individual objects like that either. I should probably try to figure that out sometime. 8) I am sure that after one figures it out... it really wouldn't be all that difficult. I have just been too lazy to look into it I guess.
