I'm in the process of modeling my house in preparation for some remodeling work. Does anyone have a wood floor shader they can give me? I'd much rather spend my time modeling than mixing shader recipes. Thanks. - Jasen.

http://www.planit3d.com Floor, wood, ceilings, masonary, carpet, all royalty-free textures. If any of the textures available on PlanIT 3D are to be used commercially, you must contact then for licensing agreements. Good luck.

You can have a look at Veloute, there're the demo and retail version on DCG website ( http://www.digitalcarversguild.com/ ). Then there're some shaders available for download on my website (http://julien.chaplier.free.fr/Main.html) in the download->shaders section. They are all procedurals, so they can be easily modified. if you haven't already... look through your Carrara content CD... there are several photo textures of wood flooring and tiles that might help you out... @ Julien... I was at your site yesterday looking at the plug-ins (and wishing I had some money to spend), and noticed your shaders for download... but the only ones I could download were the wood flooring (very nice, and I'll put them to good use, Merci Beaucoup)... but I was interested in some of the others. All of the others kept giving me 'file not found' errors. Tried with IE and Netscape...
