Per several suggestions, I'm trying to rework the telephone poles in this scene. However, I'm having trouble visualizing a good composition for the poles (pacing, direction, etc). If anyone feels generous, maybe you can draw me some ideas.(Zhann loves to do that). I'm not against removing the far structure as well, and maybe adding a tree-line? Thanks again for your input.

Maybe have the poles running in a straight line? (If they aren't already). Sorta behind the trees on the right.

Ignore the shooty dog thing.

My humble suggestion, take out the ones I have circled and move the one wth the arrow further into the distance. I would also re-visit the textures on the log cabin and give it a more rustic appearance. Really awesome pine tree and plants. hope this helps. Cheers GG. PS, I would also scale the poles up and the cabin down as power poles in godzone are generally higher than the buildings.

WHO said Kiwi's can't Fly ?????

I'm not much of a one for 2d composition, so I throw this in just as an option........ :^) I feel it's missing some kind of focal point, there's kind of a feeling of 'what am I supposed to be looking at here?'

PS I think kiwi gg is right about cutting down on the number of poles. didn't think it through before I messed with your pic, but fewer poles would give a less cluttered feel. tee hee, looking at how calm and pastoral the scene is, I'm wondering how it would look if, arcing down to that central focus, you had a burning fighter-plane trailing smoke, just about to crash. just my twisted mind LOL

since you mentioned that baby face in the grass i keep seeing it , odd i agree about removing some poles the straigtening isnt neccesary imho i would weather that cotage a little though it looks too brand new just add a chrime layer in matts or add an rust (as) layer.

for some free stuff i made
and for almost daily fotos
