The kind with no plastic and little flashy metal, high back-- they were wicker, I think or wood. And I seem to remember seeing one somewhere-- at least in a render. Free would be nice but not necessary. Emily

there was a freebie in freestuff a while back, by one of the regulars, just don't remember the name..Lannie's 3d (I think) used to have one, back when they were on line (fantastic site for models of antique stuff, Bryce mats, primitives..in fact it was so good it got creamed by auto-downloaders..a sad day) sorry I couldn't be more help.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Cal is probably the one that made the chair at Lannies. Contact him at the link, he might send it to you, but it's probably also on one of his CDs. I remember a wheelchair like that in my Grandma's basement.

Thanks pakled and wyrwulf-- It was at Cal's that I thought I remembered seeing it but I don't spot it on his cds. I sent him an email. I didn't have his site bookmarked so it would have taken me quite awhile to find him. Emily

I see it on the poseable models download page - Under the word "download" there's an old vacuum, right under that is the wheelchair.

Thanks-- downloading. Cal himself didnt think it would work but it's way close enough. Emily

If this is a bit closer to what you had in mind let me know. I modelled it after the one my great aunt had to use after her stroke. (pp2 format, 192K zipped, texture/bum maps shown & template included. The leg rest has a separate material applied so you can make it invisible if so desired)
