Wow! I can't believe how extra amazing the textures are. Are they rendered in Poser? And if so would you pretty please include the light setting??? puppy dog eyes

Excellent! But I find the 'ground' tex a little strange - it looks very light in relation to the rest, here even light green. I assume it's dirty tarmac, so it should be darker. ?? :] Fish

Xena.this is rendered in Max using 3 spotlights with raytraced shadows,very basic set up,haven't shifted it into Poser yet with all the textures.

Like everyone else who has responded, I love your work and have all of it I can afford.
When I see an artist say they are going to remove something which is already present, I cringe. There will be moments in my rendering work where I'll want to change the level of detail in the object so that I can get a good closeup. For example, in your last image (at this time at least), I would definitely raise the resolution on both the pallet and maybe on the steps as I moved the camera closer to avoid that Poser blurry look.
If it's already subdivided into objects, this might let me fix renderings where a culled one would not.
I know that this needs to be balanced against the size of the package and the need for it to be usable on a wide variety of platforms, but, if you've already done the work, please somehow let those of us who buy it get at it.

Exquisite texturing WIP! This is a most superb set. I realise this is just a WIP but please please_ really rusty gruddy texture on the drainpipes AND some nice grotty stain lines on the brickwork where the pipes are coming apart, and don't forget the overflow pipes. You might also get a bit of green mold on the brick-work close to the ground where overflow has splashed. A agree I think the graffiti is perfect tho it might be helpful to have a unpainted background and a material zone that corresponds so we can add our own!

"The walls are broken into many material zones so switching between graffiti & plain brickwork should be easily achieved." When the Poser set is finalised I'll post an untextured version showing all the material zones in solid colors,might make it a little easier to understand the versatilty

Excellent, excellent!! The detail in this model is amazing and the texturing is awesome! That pallet looks great. I would suggest a grain on the ends of the wood cross pieces similar to that on the edge of the lower piece....a little "rougher" in other words. I love the trash bin! My real garbage hauler is a company called "Waste Management"!:) Too cool! Look forward to its release :)

Great stuff, Stoney! I'm not knowledgeable about texturing and such but I was just wondering about the texture on the bricks...at closer inspection, it seems to have some repetition in it. I guess that means it's tiled because using one huge texture for the side of the building would be a huge file (at the detailed resolution you mentioned). And, without backing up through all the comments, what was the final decision of steam/steam "points"?

Hi Chuck final decision on steam is still up in the air :..I've had little luck getting it looking as real as possible ,tried using spheres & cylinders with various textures but nothing works using pro pack or poser4..I'm open to suggestions if anyone knows how to make realistic steam . textures are still wip too,the tiling is something I'm still not happy.
