Just a few questions: 1. Has anyone did any performace testing with transposer yet? 2. Has anyone been able to do any animation with P5 and Carrara Studio 3 using the Transposer Plug-in? Reason that I ask is because I have been reading about mover 5 and Vue and seen some of the animation created with this products. WoW! I purchased both Cararra Studio 3 and Transposer hoping to finally get to animating with P5, but from just doing a few test animations that I have been trying to do is dis-hearting because it takes forever just view the animation within Carrara using the Transposer plug-in. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks MCII System Specs: P4 1.2, SDRAM-512MB, G-Force 64MB.

Well the major issue is likely your video card. With 64 MB of video memory real time performance is not going to be great. I'd also up the RAM if you can. Brian brian@vizualds.com http://www.vizualds.com

Thanks Brian, I'll try doing that.

I have ben working on an animation using a modified human figure as well as the stock "cat"
I set a scene in Carrara and do short animations in Poser, then Tanspose them in. It works as advertised. Because of the nature of the import, the figures always come in under ground, but that's easily adjusted. The texture maps come right along as well as the Poser light setup so you need to delete/adjust them to your scene.
So far, I have not had two animated figures operating at the same time in the Carrara timeline, but the individual moves come along Ok.
I hope this answers some of your questions.(Mac OS 10.3.3, Dual 1GHz G4)
