Hello...
I've been using Blender along time now so I'm used to UV texturing my models, but Blender can't export into .3ds and retain it's UV map so I decided to use Carrara to do it.
I need to fully export a UV textured model from Carrara into a .3ds file so it can be opened in Max, is it possible??
If it is how do I UV texture in carrara?
Thanks alot for any help..

It is possible, Carrara reads and writes .3ds files. UV texturing is one of the texturing modes, C3 has a basic UV editor. Most of the time I export .obj files to map with the excellent UV Mapper, reimport in Carrara, which reads the UV data and applies the maps correctly. I think 'parametric' mapping is the way UV texturing is described inside Carrara.

I should have said that I only have Carrara Studio 1.1, I'm pretty much broke.. I found the UVMapper, and it seems really easy to use. Thanks alot for the help
