hi! is it possible to smooth or subdivide non-vertex modeler objects? like for example in the pic i used two metaball objects and merged them...the problem is the meshes seem to have a low poly count...and so they dont smooth well...i've tried to find out a way to smooth this out in Carrara 2.1 but no luck....the anti-alias is set to "best" but no effect too.... can i subdivide these non-vertex modeler objects? thanks very much for any tips. =)

well not that I know of.... but... you can convert metaball objects to a vertex model when you are finished with the metaballs and do it then? might help?

Hexagon, Carrara, Sculptris, and recently Sketchup.

In the metaball modeler go to: Geometry -> Surface Fidelity And the same in the spline modeler. The higher the fidelity setting, the more polygons it uses. EMC
