Subject: The Tailor Tutorials?

Are there any tutorials for using the Tailor 1.5? (Other than the two on DAZ, which are both for converting ver. 2 character clothing to ver. 3 character clothing- what I would like to do is to modify V3 clothing for use on V3, though the clothing doesn't have all the morphs to fit V3.)

Seems the Tailor is short on tutorials. One of the reasons I
haven't purchased it yet - I'm not convinced it can do what it
proposes. But, a good solid tut might change my mind >_

Tailor is made for copying figure morphs to clothing. It works very well for both V2 and V3. While the tutorials focus on V2 to V3 conversion, they also show you the basics of Tailor, that is selecting the morphs to be copied and copying them. Try going through the tutorials again.

I haven't seen anyone realy explain this either but what I have been doing (with fair success) is setting up V3 and then SPAWN the morphs I want to transfer to the clothes. Save the V3 with Spawned MTs back into the library. Now open Tailor and load the MTed Vicky, load the clothing item and transfer the morphs as normal. Like I said I only get 'fair' results on some item, V3 seems to be a bit odd and not as easily Tailored as Vicky2 :( If anyone knows a better, and more reliable way, I'd love to hear it!

Refer to post 8 in this thread. You'll obviously have to change things a little if you're not doing FBM morphs, but it squared me away.

Otherwise, as igohigh said. Morph your character, save it to the library, open that one up in Tailor, load the clothing, transfer the morphs, save the new clothing, tada. :)
