I finally have figured out how to make all my maps and textures work on poser figures in Cararra, but The eyebrow problem is eluding me. Does any one know how to fix up the eyebrow on a Victoria 2 figure. Do I need to do something back in poser before exporting her? I have this problem licked in Bryce though. I keep getting big ugly bushy brows or holes in the brow, and even just plain white. (in cararra) I'm to the point I just wnat to get rid of the brows and paint them in later.

Give toad's tutorial a try and let us know if it works for you. People have been trying to write a more current Poser tutorial, but it hasn't happened yet.wscottart posted Tue, 02 December 2003 at 9:04 PM
This is a helpful tutorial the cover-all layer is the key or appears to be. The problem for me on a mac with V2 is that I can have two sets of eyebrows. eyebrows and uppereyebrows. I am going to assume that I set both channels(materials etc) up the same. Will experiment when I get time. Is there some way to group those eyebrows together in poser since I can't use grouper? That tool in poser is awfully confusing though. Thanks for the reply and the link it helps in the great experiment and learning process.

See echo's tutorial (2 messages up) for one method of handling the upper-eyebrow material. A typical V2 head can have both an eyebrow material painted on the head, and a separate upper-eyebrow transmap and texture. Check out the Daz victoriaheadT.jpg template (or similar) to see the different locations. One alternate method to echo's and toad's methods is to use the head texture with no painted-on eyebrows (i.e. just skin) for the eyebrows, then use a texture and transmap for the upper eyebrows. It was possible in C1.1 according to an old post here (no tutorial unfortunately), so it should be even easier in C2 or 3. Let us know if it works for you.
