Did anyone notice that the Basics PDF file goes from page 44 to page 55 (actual page number in corner). It doesn't do that in the printed manual. I'll have to check the rest of them later today. It's not too much of a big deal but I keep the printed one at home and read the PDFs at work.

It looks like pages 45-54 are at the end of the PDF file - the Glossary. Very confusing indeed.

where can i get a pdf for the studio version of carrara? new user, just stumbled on a cd with carrara and amapi. are these good "starters" for me? ive never rendered graphics before. thx

If you have the CD, the PDFs should be in the Help folder. Carrara (or rather Ray Dream Studio at the time) was an excellent way to get introduced to the world of 3D. It's not as complex as some of the others out there and is well priced. But like any software program, you need to devote enough time to it to become proficient.
