Hi folks,
Today we announce the immediate availability of Shader Ops 2.0. Shader Ops 2.0 include seven new shader tools detailed below.

  1. Fake Fresnel goes from white to black as the surface normal turns away from the camera.
  2. Max Threshold returns black or white showing what the existing Max shader would select with the same two child shaders. Use as a mixer in the other channels when you are using Max in the Color channel.
  3. Min Threshold returns black or white showing what the existing Min shader would select with the same two child shaders. Use as a mixer in the other channels when you are using Min in the Color channel.
  4. Radial Gradient provides a round gradient where you can control the falloff and start position.
  5. Scale adds X, Y, and Z scaling to shaders that don't provide it like Marble, Spots, and Cellular.
  6. Translate lets you shift space based shaders like Marble, Cellular, and Turbulence.
  7. UV Shifter slides the UV space around.

There is no cost to upgrade for existing Shader Ops and eovia Power Pack customers. You can download and try out Shader Ops or grab the update from the locations below
