When a comment is left and we receive a notification via email, wouldn't it be more efficient if the comment was included in the email, so we don't have to follow the link to our respective galleries to see what it says?

actually on this subject. I am a member of a php learning forum (that I haven't been to in ages). Anyway when I post a message there and someone replies, I am sent an email notification but instead of the whole message relayed in the notice, just the first few lines or paragraph is. I think because some messages here can get quite lengthy that it would not be feasable to include the entire message in email notification? I don't know, but the first few lines would be nice. That would give you an idea on what the reply is about.

Actually gallery comments here are usually fairly short. One or two sentences at the most.

you are right, I apologise I was thinking of the forum notices, although I have seen some lengthy gallery comments too hehehe.

It seems admin is intent on ignoring a lot of valid ideas posted here. Can you at least acknowledge if this IS or IS NOT a feasible idea?

I like this idea as well. Would save some cutting and pasting the link address (since some web based email sites are dumb and port your link rather than open a direct window.)
