Does anyone have an idea how to built the shader for a microphone wiremesh in Carrara 2.1 (the top part of the microphone)? I am having trouble understanding how to deal with the 3D part and the transparency channel. Some help would be great!! Thank you all, jk69

This may help. Extract the zip file to a folder and then load the folder into your shaders browser tray. You can vary the size of the mesh by increasing the U and V values for bump and transparency (but make sure they are the same for each). Load onto a smooth sphere or similar.falconperigot posted Tue, 04 February 2003 at 9:17 AM
That should read 'vary the size of the mesh by increasing H and V values'.
