Daz3d are producing a Poser type app and the basic application will be free! It will import a variety of formats but probably won't pose initially. This could be an easy to use quality renderer for free modelling apps, of course I'm thinking Wings3d here :o) The screen shots look great though no renders have been released yet. Look for Daz studio under software development. Baz
