I did the Teddy Bear Tutorial in the Carrara 1.2 Manual with metaball objects. When I returned to the assemble room I tried to add one of Carrara's stock shaders to it, but it would not accept the pattern, it just colored the object. I test rendered it and still couldn't see the pattern. Is there a trick to using shaders on metaball models.

Try changing the mapping options...parametric, etc. Got a screen cap of the shader? Which stock shader is it? Details?

It was the leapord shader, I think that the spots were really big on the object, does that mean that the shader needs to be scaled. I'm a Carrara newbie, so please bear with me. Thanks for your help.
