I think this is a fun forum, too. But, I think we forgot to ask you the most important thing: How do you feel about Cheddar Cheese? We need to know where you stand on this important issue.

Chedder Cheese is the BEST cheese ! Extra sharp! But...the next question....can you make Cheddar cheese in Carrara?? Of course then you have to make some wine....NO not whine! Good luck with your cheese tutorial and thank you for offering to do it....LOL Peabody

You know, peabody, I think you are going to fit right in here. This may or may not be a good thing. It's probably fair that I tell you that you have made a Live Long Enemy in litst. But he's all the way over there in France, so who cares?

OhhhNooooo...didn't take me long to make enemies, good grief. Mr. Litst sir, oh Master of all that is 3D...say it isn't true. ;) Peabody

Don't worry. If you're a Carrara user, he'll forgive you for life. -Kix

That and kiss his feet and keep calling him master of all that is 3D;)

And as for making Cheese in Carrara, Litst has created a cheddar shader in one of his shader packs.... Yeah, I think you'll do well here.... It's my favorite forum on the web -- very helpful people, supportive and fun. (Plus we get to put all sorts of strange stuff in Terri's back yard!) - Dex

It's a shame ... All i have to say is that !!! Almost ... Wait a minute, maybe i'll have something else to say ... Ha, here it is : Can't you cheddar addicts admit that Camembert ( 1867 France) is the best cheese ever ? Not the one and only, there is also a lot of french cheeses that taste divinely . EVER HEARD ABOUT ROQUEFORT, YOU BUNCH OF REDNECKS ??? Anyway, if Peabody wants me to forgive him for his betray about french cheese supremacy, calling me a master of 3D won't make me blink . No-no ! Peabody, if you really want me to forgive you, just say loud and clear "Camembert is the master of all cheeses and cheddar is plastic dog dirt" . Then, maybe, if i'm in a good mood, maybe i'll forgive you ... litst PS : when i'll conquer the world, i'll erect a statue in hommage of the Camembert in every state of your ignorant country ! Nuff said !

So, anyone else envisioning an "Arc de Frommage"?

Oui monsieur I am but a lowly redneck. I could only dream of affording such imported french delicacies as Camembert, Roquefort and don't forget escargot. But, alas, it is Jethros turn to get new shoes, so there is no money for such things. But, we do so love French Fries and French Toast and even French Dressing...and we applaude your country for them. (Camembert? Isn't that the cheese in a can that you squirt on ritz crackers?)

I do not usually get involved in such flame wars over such volotle subjects. But the camembert in can? Camebert in a can is to world of cheese as the bagpipe is to musical instruments!!!! Being an inpert in this matter (acctually i am expert in all matter but thats not important) You forget teh true criteria toa really great cheese. The smell. Cheese wiz- smells like aniteseptic. Unfortunatly it dioes taste as good as antispectic. Ammong Cheese expert this is a bad thing. Cambert in a can- not much better Cheddar? Leave it out in the sun for week and then get back to me. Limberger? better but its rancid reek ranks only amature status The all time winner by far - Maruwel from south france. This puppy can kill a cow at ten paces. Its not well known outside of france becuase of restrictions of international weopons treaties. In fact, north korea only turned to developing nuclear weapons after the failure of the dairy devion of its weapons of mass desruction laboratry to ferment a stable Maruwel. Sorry did not mean to get into such detail. I think I got carried awa with my frommage hommage
