I generally use bmp and transfer into PS. But I've been rendering at 1000 pixels and shrinking, and I'm still not getting the quality I hoped for. I was wondering if I should be rendering at 3000 by 3000 and shrinking. It worked in Bryce and others. Just wondering. For my fractals I always render at over 1600 to 2600, that's antialiased to BMP and then shrink for quality.

For me it's Thighs and shins-- haven't tried boots yet, probably foot and toe then. You're an angel. you know that, huh? I still don't understand IK enough to know if it's off or on.:-)

I found the site easily-- I'd passed up all the free stuff because I thought they were backgrounds. These are great. Thank you for letting us know. I'm giving a donation too. It kills me to see all the free sites floundering and barely able to stay afloat.

California Girl is what it reminds me of-- you get Beach Boys and Venice Beach thrown in and it matches the Rollerblades. But I defer to Kendra who first mentioned California. We all like California Girls. Um, any chance of getting a Mike Fit???? It would look great on him. No bangs. Love the package. Even without the hair.

I did see the Poser 2 Bryce tutorial-- but I've already switched to Vue D'Esprit. I really Like trees! Havent' used it yet though, Poser renders have been fine since the backdrop tools, both Nerds and Rundna's. I was lousy in Bryce. Just another shiny sphere maker.

Please post, Gwydion, I'd love to see your work. I'm a newbie-- well, I had Poser just before Vickie came out and tried for a week and I was so awful I gave up. Trying to import into Bryce-- eeeew! Now I've been doing it again for a week-- so I guess I have 2 weeks experience all told. I couldn't have even tried to do anything without this forum. I read every message for two weeks while CL was sending me my replacement disks, learning about textures and eyebrows and conforming stuff. It made me feel ready. And thank you so much Ron for actually looking at and commenting on my gallery posts. It meant a lot. I love making these pictures. Believe me, I am incrediably glad to be here!

Wow! They finally got male ones!! Yeah, I checked out Real Dolls over a year ago. But what if you're not turned on by Gary Sinise??? I found the grossest part having to warm them up in the tub so you, uh, are not dealing with what is known as a slab job. I learn everything worthwhile in life from Mystery stories.

Thread: ZBrush VS UV Mapper Pro VS Painter 3D | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
ZBrush is offering their product for $292, Daz for $272 plus store credit. I'm only interested in using it for post not modeling-- from what I've seen, it is very difficult to take any morphs back into Poser. But their 2.5D texture brush looks awesome. I might spring for it, if Daz is still offering the lower price at the end of the month. From what I hear on the Painter list, Painter 3D is a joke.

I love this-- this is the new wolf from Freebies??? It works with the regular texture map?? Or did you make your own? I think they look real enough, I want to romp with them!

The Wedge cut license-- and a long intricate machination it is--has the usual prohibitions against taking any part of the model, I would assume the texture is a part of the model, and changing it and/or distributing it in any manner. I notice they now have Koz's dark texture available on their site as a freebie, along with a grey one. I dunno, the licence sounds like maybe I'm not supposed to change the color for myself-- though I'm going to continue. It is ironic to see textures for the gel-cut on sale while I'm in this dilemma. Did I buy them, oh yeah.Coloring the blonde map is even more effective for pastels. See link.

Thanks for the encouragement, but we gots a problem. Koz made the original transmap for Daz, and they own the copyright. Do you think they're gonna let me hand it out? I don't think so. Don't even know who to ask. I just got an email back from Kozaburo saying he had to have a special permission for posting the dark texture at his site-- of his own tex. Course it's not his copyright anymore.
Any ideas? I do suggest if anyone does want the fancy colors that they look into surplus software stores. Some of them still have KPT Convolver. It was fairly easy to color both the dark and the light textures. I pretty sure I have have a right to color the texture I bought for my own uses. As would anyone else. But I don't want to go up against DAZ.
