Carolly - Thanks for your comments! So, let me get this straight - I can move anything except obj files around as I please, as long as I am mindful of the entension/folder relation. And I can change the names of the files as well?

I agree - I was gnawing at the proverbial bit for Steph Petite and I purchased her and both morph packages as soon as she was released. I had a small wad of cash saved up for the clothes and shoes that would shortly follow as well... but it hasn't yet happened. You're not alone - I despise painted on clothes. At least she looks good naked (and the fantasy dress is useful with some work).

Like so many others here, I'll miss Dr. Geep. As a (not so much anymore) newbie, I dare say more than half of what I know I can attribute to the patient, considerate, humorous, and insiteful ministrations of Dr. Geep. I certainly hope you ultimately decide not to depart these forums for good. But, I wish you well and give my thanks.

I appreciate everyone's responses. I've talked to several people regarding this question and have gotten just as many different answers. I agree a custom character needs both variety and support. I'm not quite sure even how to do deformers, so thats something I need to look into (know any good tutorials anyone?)... and as far as support goes. Well, as a newbie, finding another - let alone a group of anothers - has been impossible. I have thought that a themed collaborative effort might be enjoyable (if not somewhat profitable) especially given the pros of mutual support, feedback, brainstorming and the eventual successful endeavor. This would allow for a bunch of content for whatever - be it a custom character, new character, general theme or whatnot - to be released over a relatively short period of time. Anyway, its late and I'm rambling... again, thanks for all the comments!

In Poser 5, I have heard that you can select M3 or V3's body, edit>copy, select the bodysuit or any other morphable clothing and edit>paste to the clothes body. Suppossedly, P5 will transfer whatever morphs it can. I haven't tried it yet as I've been too busy with Rhino... but it was in the DAZ forums (if I recall).

I agree, joining the platinum club is an excellent idea. Additionally, V3 is a good investment, imho. If you get the various morph paks, she can change into V3-male, which gives you a completely morphable male figure for the price of a morph pak. Personally, I think V3+morphs is one of the best investments someone could make.
