Sorry to hear that you're having problems with distibuting a head morph for Kez. That is no doubt my fault. When I made the figure, I made the mistake of using the .obj file that was saved to the library when I made my facial morphs. I did not realize that the figure's head-neck vertices were not merged with the rest of the body until after it was released. In order to have corrected this, I would have had to merge the unwelded vertices and then redo all the head morphs. I was pretty well burnt out at that point and didn't think it was worth the trouble to redo the morphs on a free figure. So that may be the problem you're running into, and I'm sorry about that. But still, there should be a work-around. PhilC should know better than I on how to solve the problem. If not, then I would be glad to see what I can do to help you distribute the morphs. Just let me know.
And the work you have done looks terrific!

Primorge, I know where you're coming from. I recently bought a new Windows 7, 64 bit, 32 GB ram computer. Poser 2012 now renders with incredible speed and I no longer have "out of memory" problems. But there was also a downside: Although I could get older programs to install, a couple of my expensive programs like Maya would no longer work because it would not recognize my hardware dongles. So I had to keep my old computer just to run them. I think when it finally konks out, I'm going back to the simple days of a pencil and a paint brush. Technology is just moving too fast, and my brain and my wallet can no longer keep up.
Joe@HFG, the polygon count is roughly 50,000.

Thanks everyone. primorge, making figures for previous versions of Poser always seemed to be a disappointment to me. I was never satisfied with the bending of the joints. They looked okay with slight bends but beyond that they started looking pretty bad. One could improve the bending with JCMs, extra bones, and so forth, but I could never get it good enough. Weight-mapping, or polygon-smoothing as I would prefer to call it, changed everything. The results are so much better that I can't imagine going back and doing it the old way. Weight-mapping as well as gamma correction was like discovering Poser all over again.

Thanks guys. The figure will use the genitalia switch, have oodles of muscle adjustment morphs and also quite a few facial expression morphs. The hair shape is also a morph and can be reverted back to the bald shape. Of course that may, or may not, require some changes to the texture map. Although it is not a low-rez figure (roughly 50,000 polys), I did take Vilters advice on making just one main UVMap. I say one UVMap because there is a separate eyelash map. Anyway, I hope to have it finished before the end of March. I enjoy doing this but I sure would like to move on to something else.

I model in Maya but I don't think the modeling program is all that important. I recommend you check out "3D Modeling for Poser Tutorial" available from PhilC Designs. I found it to be very useful in understanding the process.

I've often wondered about this myself. Les, if you ever find out, I hope you can let us all know.

Well, son of a gun, your reply Bob made me go back in and play around with the cr2 file again. I was wrong. You can mirror morphs on it using the morphing brush. It's a little trickier but it can definitely be done. This should help simplify the process.

Thanks guys. Yeah Bob, I had to spend hours in front of a mirror trying to get everything just right. No seriously, I'm using the anatomy book by Arthur Thomson that was first published in 1929, and it's one of those books guaranteed to put you to sleep. The morphing tool within Poser is indeed very powerful, but I have to save often to avoid crashes. I use the original obj file to work from because it enables me to mirror the morphs. Maybe I'm missing something, but I could never mirror a morph using the cr2. Anyway, thanks again everyone.

Thanks Laurie. I should have said morphing tool, but it seems more like using brush-strokes to me.

I agree that the figure should be zeroed and you shouldn't have any problems making clothing for it. However, Poser shifts the figure (cr2) ever so slightly from the position of it's obj file. Because of this, I always use the original obj file to build clothes around. If you load a zeroed figure, and then load it's obj file, you'll see that they don't match exactly. I'm sure there must be a good explanation for this, but I probably wouldn't understand it if they told me.
