I also get very frustrated with the material room. Â While it is true that I haven't studied it near enough, whenever I see some of these shaders with 15 to 30 plus node attachments, I'm thinking how in the heck does anyone ever figure this out. Â It is nothing short of amazing to me how BB and others make sense of this all, but I sure wish it was more geared toward average blokes like me.

Thank you Blackhearted, that means alot coming from someone of your talents. Â Vilters, I think i see what you're saying about the lashes. Â About muscles: Â I was kind of hoping that someone like the talented Lyrra would make some magnets for her. Â But if not, I may get around to it one of these days.

Thanks guys. Â I'm really happy you like the figure. Â Vilters, that is some cool tricks in the mat room. Â I've played around with all those different nodes, and generally, all I end up with is a big mess. Â I do have a question for you. Â You may have noticed that I used a small colored texture for the lashes. Â If I took it away and just used the default to color the lashes, I always ended up with the lashes being way too dark in preview mode. I tried the alternate diffuse and had the same problem. Â I really don't understand what I was doing wrong, but then again maybe it's my monitor or other settings that are out of whack. Â Any ideas?

Not exactly sure what you're looking for, but I have a sculpted sarcophagus. It is part of a set but could easily be taken out. The lid swings open and the interior will accommodate most figures. here's the link:Thread: tribute | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I'm puzzled....must be something wrong with my computer. I've used Norton for the last 4 years and have had zero problems in running Poser 7, 8, Pro 2010, and Pro 2012.

Hi randym77. I'm still here. All my stuff was taken down as a measure of solidarity with other Poser freebie artists. But I'm still very much into Poser. Just got Pro 2012 and have been working on a new project. As far as my Genesis Hair...A year or so ago, I had a hard drive crash and my backup device failed as well. I Lost a lot of work including Genesis Hair. If the file is small enough, you can send it to my Email address. Just send an IM if you're interested and I'll provide it. I'd be happy to go over it to see what I can find out.
Thread: Rendering issue | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Could be a polygon issue. Try unchecking smooth polygons in render palette. If that's not it, try adjusting your shadow light or lights (Shadow Min Bias) via the the Parameter's palette.
