You Suck! Just kidding, just kidding...Yeah, I'm jealous, I'll have to limp on with my old desktop, a AMD 600, 448MB Ram, 32MV ATI All in Wonder Pro, 110GB Harddrive.. I can't wait to build a new computer... And get a new fast graphics card.. Congrats man, I bet it will be sweet.. kaom

It should work fine... There's a thread a few pages back titled " Just playing around" by Agent Smith himself, he helped me a ton in that thread, and I think there is some essential Bryce HDRI/GI information in it.. Check it out.. I'm digging the whole HDRI/GI thing, it's a lot of fun and the results are beuatiful. I'm getting Carrara 3 becuase it supprts true HDRI.. But Bryce's fake HDRI is pretty damn cool! kaom

I'd love to see your tut, there's so much to learn about this stuff. I'm in the process of trying to master shooting photographs of a gazing ball and creating LAT/LONG HDRI Images in HDRShop.. I've experimented with a few techniques in Bryce, the Ambient white sphere/Global Illumination, and the same thing with a converted HDRI map on it.. Both ened up looking pretty cool. I'm really digging the environment mapping end of it, and want to shoot a bunch of different environments to render in.. Here are some images I've done using these techiques, thet are in my gallery if anyone want to check them out. It could be just me, but to the light domes don't look as good as using an ambient/GI sphere for the lighting...To me it looks more realistic, like real world lighting.. Theh light domes look beautiful and are amazing renders, but they don't look natural, the lighting is too perfect. The stuff I've seen of AS' using ambient spheres looks incredible, it's what made me look into it, and now I'm a believer....
