ok I have some very nice payed for stuff that was supposed to work on both g8f-g8.1f,and the character is g8f the skin texture is sweet this is why. I've never had the inclination  to use g8.1f as of this time.

I found the app data folder, so thanks. As for Daz, I'm reinstalling it as the 4.23.1 setup is installing CMS now. I'll post the output later.

there is no folder called app data under this area.

using F2 start CMS and looking for the location of this thing it tells me the above.

also when I downloaded the program it is corrupted when opening it.

it came with the install, it is placed under the Daz Studio folder and yes it was 64-bit in , program files Daz 3D, and DazStudio4,on the page and under  that folder.

I want to rig in Blender 4.1 or 4.2 and then do the same in Daz later if necessary. Just to let you know I'm only doing this to be able to pose this thing in Daz as an addon in a scene.

adding G8f to an empty scene (tagging my bad ) this came up as Daz was looking up all the files so to add G8f to a scene. I have not looked into the log file yet 

No, what I wrote is all it says, I might need to refresh the metadata cash. Only when you are tagging G8f to the studio or adding the basic figure to use another skin or body etc.
