I had this problem too. You can add virtual memory in going into Control pannel--->System properties--->Advanced--->Parameters of Performances---Advanced--->Virtual Memory Modify Select the HD where your Vue is and bring it up to something like 1536 maximum size or more if needed. Guitta

Thread: Does Vue Network Render? | Forum: Vue
If you have Mover 4, you can do network renders for animations only with Vue 4 and for animations and stills with Vue 4 Professional. Mover 4 includes "rendercow" to install on all the computers you want to use on your network. In the Vue 4 User guide you have infos on page 310 (network render without Mover 4) and pages 129, 279,280, 281 in the Vue 4Pro Manual

Thread: Lava Flow Demo? | Forum: Vue
Sorry for the misspelling Philippe. As demo users maybe don't have tutorials, here a little idea. Take a terrain (with lava), animate it to 3-5 seconds (i.e.), then open the material editor for the terrain material and change it to a different one. Vue will ask you then if you want to animate the terrain. Say yes. Then again create a new keyframe, change the material and so forth.
You find lava terrains in our backroom above. See free material and search for material by Zoon.

As far as I can see we don't have it with the full Vue pro version. It is probably an animation of a terrain. Who made the animation? Phoul (Philippe Boyer) or Zoon (Adrian Farnsworth)?

If you use volumetric atmospheres with an alpha plane you always will get these faint outside lines. So, use alphas only with "normal" atmospheres. Guitta

Thread: Vue vs OnyxTree | Forum: Vue
You cannot compare these programs. vue is originally a landscape generator. Onyx tree creates trees. Only.
Thread: Question for VuePro and Poser users.... | Forum: Vue
Vue always remembers where the textures are. But if you move these textures, you have to "find" them all again, one by one, manually, then save your scene again. After that, Vue will remember the new location.
