Well, as I can see there's nothing wrong with your model. It's clean and neat. I also have ati but this image is from PC that has some intel onboard card. Display is ok on both of them so only thing that I can think of is that you try to update your drivers.
P.S. Only thing that pokes my eyes in your model is that loose vert and edge that goes from top of that dome down to it's base :)

If that's the case then i think that Collada format is currently only solution for you. But you can ask also on blenderartists forum and see what Blender gurus will say about this topic.

Well, why don't you assign modelling job to that person that uses Blender and rigging and animation job to people that are using Maya and Cinema?
Yes, there is Collada import/export script in Blender but FBX is still missing. I don't have any expirience with Collada and I don't know the quality of those scripts but if that person will do only modelling and uv mapping job, then she could use a plain .obj format for exporting.
Well, that's only a suggestion, hope you'll find a solution.

Damir
Thread: Can someone check what's wrong with my InjDeltas file? | Forum: Poser Technical
Man, I'll shoot my self... I have found what's wrong... I have misspelled readScript in ma injection pose pz2. All this trouble because of one big letter S....
Thank you guys for trying to help!

Man, Wait a second... I have tried what I didn't tried before... I have used Unhide and InjDeltas directly, not throuhg readscript and it works!!! WTF?!?...
Thread: Can someone check what's wrong with my InjDeltas file? | Forum: Poser Technical
Thank's for your reply guys.
Well, I don't use v4.1, just pure v4 base. And what I have noticed is after I inject my morphs and save that changed figure, in text editor I see injection channel properly named but indexes and numbDeltas are still at 0. And of course, there is no deltas :( This drives me crazy :(
Thread: Selection with Left Mouse Button and ALT-LMB... | Forum: Blender
Only solution for your problem that I see is this: Go to store and buy some mouse with a weel :)
Mouse wheel acts as the middle mouse button (MMB) when pressed, so:
   1. - To rotate 3d view in Blender, press MMB and drag.
   2. - To pan, press SHIFT+MMB and drag.
2.1 - To pan 3d view on screen X press CTRL and rotate mouse wheel
2.2 - To pan 3d view on screen Y press SHIFT and rotate mouse wheel
   3. To zoom, just rotate mouse wheel or press CTRL+MMB and drag.

Huh ?
I think you misunderstood. There is no reason to "rewrite" anything. All of the bundled scripts work fine, but only after you install Python. In all previous releases, all scripts that were released with the program worked WITHOUT any Python install.
Well, if that's the case then that issue could be a bug in blender, I don't know. I have Python 2.5 installed so I didn't noticed any script problems.

By the way, how is that Poser morph target import/export script coming? There is a post just below of someone that could use just that.
It's still under construction :S
I have a lot of my real life work to do and problems to solve, so writing of that script is currently placed "on hold". But I think that soon I will be able to continue with that.

P.S. Blender is compiled in C , not Python :)
P.S. No kidding?!? Man, I always thought that Blender is writen in Javascript :D
Thread: Python is now required ? | Forum: Blender
No, python isn't removed from Blender. Only thing that is changed is the fact that 2.44 version is compiled with Python 2.5 version. Many things in BPY are changed to. That's why many of old scripts aren't working in 2.44.
Only solution is to wait for their creators to rewrite them for Python 2.5, or to do it your self.
Now, I don't know why A.N.T script doesn't work in 2.44 without full Python installation but I suspect that full installation of Python is backward compatible with some scripts, and that Python25.dll included with Bledner isn't.
But in the end, I don't understand why is that such a big problem if someone have to dl Python. A whole dl for both packages is still under 20MB. I'm also on 56k and I don't see any problems with that.
I don't know how big is the trial version of max 9, but on Softpedia max7 is 85 MB heavy, Maya PLE 7.1 is 260 MB, on Softimage pages, XSI is arround 400 MB...
Now, if Blender with Python 2.5 is too big...
P.S. And I also have tons of languages installed on my PC, and I only use few of them (Python, PHP, FreePascal, AutoIT, NET SDKs...)

Thanks a lot. Added a meta tag yesterday and didn't close it correctly.
My FF showed me a page out of his cache, obviously.
Downloaded Blender last days. Looks a bit chaotic, IMHO. Seems that I have to spend some time to find a way through this :))
Any hint where to start reading?
Yes, Blender can look a bit chaotic for a beginner
But, if you are willing to learn, you'll find in no time that Blender isn't that hard. There will be some frustrations (I'm still frustrated with some things even after a year of using blender) but keep learning and you'll see Blender powers soon enough  Almost all beginners are scared with non standard interface and the fact that Blender relies on keyboard shortcuts. Don't get me wrong, almost all tools are still accessable through some menus, but you'll learn that Blender strength lies exactly in those shortcut keys. And when you get use to them, youll love that workflow.

Thanks a lot adp. I've had no time to check again your script because I'm occupied with my own coding for blender. But I get this when I come to your scripts page:

Quote - It's the reliance on the keyboard that put me off. I used to use Caligari on the Amiga and wouldn't touch the keyboard for days, as once a file was named I could just click it to save and leave the keyboard on the floor (where I think it belongs when using a GUI based OS). I like a gadget or slider for everything, when possible. Good thing is that I wouldn't have to unlearn very much since the only key commands I have in memory are Wings'.
Thanks for the explanation of adding a cube. This cube will render, right? I remember reading the manual (it's been about 5 years) and thinking that I had to create an object before specifying the mesh as the mesh can't exist by itself and the object has no mesh until one is linked to it. Or maybe I just wanted to think it was difficult...
As I've said, keyboard is a problem for a beginner. But when he get a gripp, It's a lot quicker than searching throgh menus for some command. I have'd also big toubles to get use to those shortcuts, but I have been determined and now I adore that workflow. My right arm is on my mouse, pointer is on my model and my left arm is on my keyboard. Example: If I need to extrude a face, I don't have to move a pointer to some menu to find Extrude tool. I press E, move pointer how faar I need and I click to finish. That's all. If I want to rotate something, I select that something (face, edge, object... whatever), press R and move pointer in what dirrection I want to rotate. Again, click finishes rotation. IMO That's faster than going to some menu and selecting Rotate tool, then after rotation is finished going again to some menu and selectiong Move or some other tool.
There's a lot of changes since you have readed that manual. There are still objects and meshes linked to it, but you don't have to deal with that if you don't want to. If you add a cube, you add a cube. Hit F12 to render, of course, if you have a camera pointed to that cube and some light that will shine in your scene you'll see that cube in the render

That's encouraging... I've been thinking of trying blender since forever, but I always get scared away by how difficult it's said to be. Just out of curiosity, how many menus, key presses and mouse motions does it take to add a cube in blender?
