well, I can do a little animating but I rarely do, because firstly I can't put it in a pretty bryce background which would be nice...when I'm stuck with poser I usually do dim lighting to hide the lack of a background or put a photo, both of which kinda crimp an animation also, it takes substantially longer to do an animation than a single image, and you can't "show off" animations nearly as easily. I guess I'm lucky, I just shove them onto a video tape, but I still don't get the feedback from a forum like this methinks if metacreations released a bryce/poser animation plugin then the forum would jump in posts =) Let's all spam ummmm cough I mean send them encouraging e-mails to get this out SewerRat

Actually, on seeing the image on my home monitor I must say (with no offense intended) that it looked better on the bad monitor There the raptors appeared to be looming out of the darkness, and you couldn't see exactly where they were, implying that it was some gloomy dark jungle night maybe play with the light/contrast a little bit and see how it looks :) but don't take offense please, it's still a cool image =) (and I like the hair method, I'll be sure to try it) SewerRat

=) definately I've got about five very different finished images from some of my favourite images I've made =) Thanks for going through this, the idea of already drawing a multicoloured texturemap is interesting, logical, but I wouldn't have thought of it (yeah, I know I'm kinda braindead) :) SewerRat
Thread: Using two monitors | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've got two monitors and have some similar problems, but I don't think they are exactly the same sometimes parts don't move screens, what I do is un-maximize poser so it is in a scalable box, then I drag one side across to the screen where I want it (so it's just really long), position the different controls in that screen, then drag the other side across as well, so I have the whole thing moved that works fine for me, if I just drag it across sometimes bits get left behind when I open menus etc. they still appear on the primary screen, and the hierchy editor as well as some dialog boxes only appears within the poser screen, but wants to be on the primary, so I only see the edge of it until I drag it across ok, I haven't answered any real questions...hmm, come to think of it I don't know if I've been any help at all. but hey shrug I bothered typing this so I might as well post it SewerRat

wow you are an artist =) so the dustcloud from the hooves was done in bryce? I'm impressed a great image, hopefully I'll be able to work that well with photoshop in the not-too-distant-future SewerRat

Great image =) (just a little bit too dark for me to see details because of these budget uni monitors, but I'll live) how were the ropes done? Are they acting sort of like wristbands, which you put on her wrists/ankles as well as on the trees, then just a pipe between them the same colour, or some other method? And if they are a bracelette type thing, is it possible to get them posted? great image =) SewerRat

really nice picture =) you've managed to take poser and bryce and make a picture that looks like it's been done by hand, I'm impressed =) I've been told one of the biggest problems with poser is you can always tell when it's been used to make an image would it be possible to tell us what parts you touched up in photoshop? just a general idea please =) SewerRat
Thread: Girl Talk. :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm thinking someone should design a bathtub on a wheelbarrow so the mermaid girl can get around without her tail getting too dry :) kevin: no, they only need one side, because the girl on the chair is explaining to the mermaid how "castling" works grin
Thread: Anybody still looking for a poseable cow? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm still on the lookout for a posable cow if you're making one =) Not everyone can justify spending money on models unfortunately, so a funstuff place like this is paradise =) (thanks to everyone that makes it as good as it is) SewerRat
Thread: Anyone know Where i can get a poseable Cape? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've got it on my home computer, but I'm at uni right now if you have ICQ buzz me on 3453934, or e-mail Sewer@apocx.hypermart.net and I can send it to you or upload it hopefully this is only temporary and the poserforum link will be fixed =) SewerRat (p.s. I'm in australia, so file transfers may be a little slow)
Thread: cyberpunk vampire hunter | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Allerleirauh =) bloodsong: hmm, yeah, I guess I could lighten the explosion, although it would probably lose something if I tried that, methinks it'd be better if I made it brighter before I started drawing it in. Then again, I don't think this image is nearly exciting enough to waste the effort on fixing up that =) I'll just keep it in mind for my next picture grin as for a bullet or spike...shrug I guess thats up to your imagination. When I drew it I was picturing some sort of explosive ammo, so that even if the vampire doesn't get staked in his heart, he'll still be in multiple pieces but shrug I'm not an expert on destroying vampires, so a spike it can be =) hmmm... www.sluggy.com - an online comic, has a vampire hunting storyline, where the character builds a chaingun that fires hundreds of stakes a second....methinks I should equip him with one of those (oh, and check out the comic, it rocks) SewerRat

Is it possible to get a copy of those boots? I'm sick of all my medieval heroines wearing high heeled boots =) SewerRat

A new layer was then created over this, onto which I drew (with a white pen) a bullet shape, then selected grey as the foreground colour and hot wax coated it that causes the edges to become smoothed and 3d-looking while filling the rest with flat grey I drew a white line down that (for the glem) and hotwaxed it again then I smudged it a little for the motion effect. I then got the spraycan tool, chose a low density and drew a trail, made the brush smaller and drew a longer tail, made it smaller again, so I had a diminishing green tail. Sorry, I didn't keep any copies while I was making the bullet. Honesly, they didn't look very exciting. Then I smudged this green, so it would only be a subtle blur
And I had the explosion, totally improvised on the spot, so please don't ask me how to make a "real" explosion, 'cause I'd be at a loss (thanks to JeffH for pointing out one of my posts wasn't working grin) SewerRat
