heh I'm dead tired, I didn't sleep at all last night, I was in the local park until 4am doing judo and swordfighting. No, I'm not quite that insane. usually I do it in a gym. I'm starting on the poses now, I'll do a default standing grip, a throw over the shoulder, a throw around the hips (holding the guys head)...a trip, a kick forwards, then trip/throw backwards....anything else you need? do you want any poses with one holding the other in a grip, like an armlock? or just the throws? I won't offer to do any kicks/punches, since we don't do that in judo, so someone else could probably get the motions correct better than I could SewerRat

I just scale the chest and shoulder parts larger until it fits the poser male works a charm, I've done that many times without any problems, it still fits fine SewerRat

I do judo, so I could make you some animations of the various throws/trips/grapples etc. but there isn't any punching or kicking in that, so it probably wouldn't look good in a fight scene and I've got exams in a week, so I don't have much spare time, you may have to "neaten" it up a bit SewerRat

whoa! digging for old posts are we? I don't think this is the trenchcoat man, it's the conformable trenchcoat from jkeller, but gsalas made is posable. So since it's still his model I guess his permission sticks, although the model itself was given free to distribute (if I remember right) it was in the funstuff under gsalas I believe, not sure if it's still there but I don't see why it wouldn't be SewerRat

I don't know if I agree with that lynnJonathan, that way you end up needing to reinvent the wheel every time I think it's ok to piggyback on other peoples work, as long as they say you can (you contacting them, or they specifically said so in the readme) and as long as you are only passing off your CHANGES as your work, not the whole thing but I think it's totally acceptable to start with someone elses model as your base well, that's just my counter-2-cents =) take it for what it's worth (which is probably much less than 2 cents. unless you mean australian currency, which isn't worth much at all right now) SewerRat

That's great! just a suggestion, could you maybe make the tunic top a little more substantial, and then cut it down with transparency maps? that way it would be easy to make many similar, but not identical, tunics (no use having great unwashed masses if you can only have one) is there going to be a matching female one? (although I'm all for more male clothing, plenty of female clothing around already, but there can never be enough grin) Keep these coming! they're great! SewerRat

pretty much off the topic, but html can't be copyrighted, only the design of the page. So renderosity could copyright the yellow-linked message board, with the green "hotlinks" stripe down the right, but they couldn't copy right the html code saying how to do this. Kinda like an author can copyright a story, but they can't copyright the words used in the story, only the way that the words all fit together to make something else. Any chunk of HTML is fair-game to be used elsewhere, just as long as your page looks different in the end. in the store you're selling your changes to the models, not the models themselves. Kinda like a texture map, it's an addition to the model, not a replacement. SewerRat
