When Ohki said La Femme 2 was going to be a new rig and we would have to convert clothes rigged for La Femme to use them, I thought about all the conversions I had done from Genesis 3/8 clothes to PE and shook my head. But I have found that my conversions for La Femme work fine with LF2 unless they have sleeves, and I'm talking not just dresses but high-heeled boots. LF2 comes with a dress dev that rigs to the leg parts, but there are some garments that just won't work without skirt handles. The great news is I have been able to conform them and just use the morph brush to fit the new body shape (do NOT copy joint zones!).
Here, for example, is Thunder gown::
Vita gown also needs front and back skirt handles to behave properly:
Diane high boots conformed fine. Here they are with the morph brush work to fit the new body shape:

That's really helpful! Can I safely delete the Poser 13 library and just keep the one I know the textures are in, or will that hose the program?

Changing the pref to Poser 11 Content made all the libraries disappear, but thanks for the idea.Maybe check and make sure that the Default Poser Prefs file is pointing to the location of your content. You can edit it using TextEdit, and will find it in your Poser folder, ▸ Runtime ▸ prefs.
Bit tricky to troubleshoot since I'm not sure where everything Poser 11 is on your system and where any new Poser 13 stuff might be.
However, if you are still doing everything from a Poser 11 runtime, and just installed Poser 13 for the app itself it might be as simple to fix as changing CONTENT_ROOT_PATH "/Users/Shared/Poser 13 Content" to CONTENT_ROOT_PATH "/Users/Shared/Poser 11 Content"

It's set to deep. But thanks for the suggestion! I haven't looked at the texture files yet (I'm doing first experiments with LF2 conforming clothing, and full-body sleeveless clothes and high boots look pretty easy to adapt with the morph brush), but can I use the skin tone face textures to make freebie makeup for Firefly like I did for base LF?

There are new products for Poser all the time! They just are packaged for DS and Genesis 3/8/9 and take a little work to convert. Every Poser user has a pro version now with easy rigging tools, particularly the fitting room. I have a long tutorial on this with specific how-to examples on this very board.

I'm sorry. I have converted so much clothing and so many shoes to LF that I am not going to "easily" convert them again to a new rigging each time I use LF. Enjoy her!

This thread on this very board has how-to examples for rigging high-heel shoes to La Femme in the setup room. It works the same for all Poser figures. As to modeling shoes, I have no skills at that. I have rigged public domain shoes to various figures. See my free stuff.

I just converted for La Femme the first garment I bought for Genesis 9, the Vihar Outfit. You don't need to clutter up DS by downloading Genesis 9 to use products for the figure. G9 retains the A-frame zero pose of G8. Oddly however, the clothing loads in DS with the legs so close together that there is virtually no thigh gap, and the boots actually had polygons from the two legs overlapping. I will buy a cheap G9 outfit with pants to find out whether this is just an oddity of the vendor or the rule. This is where the fact that most, but not all, force closing is actually rigged, One can pose the clothing pieces in DS to match LF's T-pose before exporting an obj to import into Poser. In this case, though, the panty rigging for the thighs included only twist and bend, not side to side.
Moreover, the grouping tool showed that the upper most thigh is part of the pelvis.
The only solution here turned out to be getting in very close and using a small diameter pull tool for the morph brush to patiently adjust the mesh.
The boots had the same problem, but fortunately, the thighs in DS were rigged for side-to-side movement.
I was able to rig the boots to LF not zeroed and then copy the Body Kit thigh morphs from LF to the boots to resize the inner thigh. Then I rigged the boots to LF with her zeroed and the boots not.

Poser 11, because 1) I use scripts that don't work in 12 every single render (most frequently Genesis 2 poses), and 2) I have no use for Superfly. I almost certainly will not buy Poser 13 because, for my purposes, it will be much less capable than Poser 11.

If you want to “makeup” your life easier, I use Classic Genesis 2 for my makeups. It’s licensed for free and commercial products.

Most “Dforce” hair (and garments, for that matter) come “pre-simmed.” They look just like conforming items, not the blanks slate of many Poser dynamic garments. I tried to clothify one hair set that started life as an unformed blob, and probably because of high poly count, the sim just kept running with no change until I killed it.
