Are you sure you're not confusing "Premier Releases" with prime?New store items on sale are now listed as "Prime" upon initial release. If they were listed as "Prime Flash," then I'd know whether or not they were actually Prime or merely flashing as Prime.
Premier release is a limited discount for a day or two on a product, which is separate from Prime. Not all new items go through that process - only some.

Hmm, I also have a book collection - Part 1
(I made so many covers for this prop set, and put coherent text on it so the books could be displayed on their own)

Thread: Clearance Items Status Restored to Normal? | Forum: Community Center
One day, the ever-changing Renderosity management team decided to send all products that hadn’t sold in x number of months to clearance. Without promoting clearance or giving vendors half a chance those products were then removed to “archived” status shortly thereafter.
Now an archived product is only available if you click on the vendor’s store (or perhaps have it in your wishlist). But the ‘powers that be’, chose to implement this system before creating tools allowing vendors to discount or manage their archived products. So the items reverted to their original full prices.
Why, Renderosity management is not explaining this to Renderosity members I’ll never know. But please don’t delete the items – just hang ten. Perhaps one day the new ever-changing Renderosity management team will do something about this situation.

I haven't been to that site in years. But last time I checked, the products that are for sale there - are mostly for sale here and elsewhere to.
Freebies, where the creators are still around, can be uploaded to Renderosity freebie section.

Thread: 65% Sale or 50% Sale? I only see 50%, no 65% | Forum: Community Center
I think the clearance products are 65% off and the other products are 50% off.

Thread: My thoughts on Poser 14 | Forum: Poser 14
By the way - I understand some are upset about the cloth room. I didn't notice it was gone until I read the posts here because I don't use it. I've never completed a render with dynamic cloth - I've spent hours working on renders but eventually get fed up and select conforming clothes. With the type of scenes or poses I do there's always a fold or poke though or something that's annoying. And then I make the mistake of fixing something in the scene and discover I was on frame 15 or 30 and not frame 1 - and the whole scene becomes a mess. At a point I just realised I was wasting far too much time with dynamics and made a conscious decision to not use it again. Same reason I haven't bought Poser clothes in years - they're all dynamic.
I use a host of software programs that I pay a yearly license for, and they have not included a single "new" feature that I've actually wanted or used in years. For my work I use technical writing software that is buggy and painful to use - and my work pays a monthly or yearly license fee for the rubbish.
To put the Poser upgrade fee in proportion to the other software - it's not bad. And I get a bit more because I've upgraded from 12 to 14, I got content, and superfly render features that I didn't have. So overall I'm happy.
To those that are so quick to criticise Renderosity - just look at all the other stores that no longer exist because of changing market conditions.

Thread: With AI, is Poser becomming obsolete? Or could it be a chance? | Forum: Poser 14
The Poser web version has some AI built into it, but the scale was off. But I think those problems can be fixed. So, there's already some AI and Poser out there.
Some of the big AI issues are: too resource intensive, they all look the same, and none of the court cases on copyright infringement have been resolved yet (on the graphics side of thing) - so the future of AI is uncertain. Then there's talk of the AI bubble bursting like the dotcom bubble did.
In the meantime, I can create graphics for games in Poser much faster than using anything else and is mainly what I've been using Poser for. At least I know I can safely use the renders and not face copyright issues down the line.
